Ahadi Kenya Boss Mobilises Youth in Massive Voter Registration Push

By Jameson Mutua

Ahadi Kenya CEO Stanley Kamau has called on young people across the country to show up in large numbers and register as voters ahead of the next General Election, saying their voter’s card is their most powerful tool for change.

Speaking on Friday, during a voter registration sensitization drive organized by Ahadi Kenya at Gitugi grounds in Mathioya constituency, Murang’a County, Kamau praised the high turnout, noting that more than 300 residents, most of them first-time youth voters, had come out to register.

Kamau emphasized that meaningful participation in elections begins with voter registration and urged the youth to use their vote as their voice rather than resorting to violence or divisive slogans.

He cautioned against the culture of shouting “one term, two term or no term,” insisting that civic power lies in the ballot. “Your voter card is your voice,” he told the crowd, encouraging them to choose leaders who reflect their aspirations.

He lauded the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) officers for their cooperation and urged community leaders to continue mobilizing young people to participate actively in democratic processes.

The sensitization drive is part of Ahadi Kenya’s ongoing national campaign to boost voter registration and empower citizens, especially the youth, to shape their future through the ballot.
