AUI Global, a pan-African executive education provider specializing in artificial intelligence programs, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Konza Technopolis Development Authority to deliver AI workshops and executive certification programs to the board and staff of Kenya’s flagship smart city. Companies operating within the Technopolis will also be eligible to enroll their teams in AUI Global’s certification courses.
The partnership is expected to strengthen AI literacy and accelerate the responsible adoption of artificial intelligence within Kenya’s innovation ecosystem.
“Partnering with Konza Technopolis allows AUI Global to deepen our roots in the Silicon Savannah,” said Deborah Bartlett, Executive Lead at AUI Global. “Together, we will accelerate AI adoption and literacy in Kenya, ensuring that Kenya’s leaders are certified in AI to responsibly integrate AI to transform Kenyan businesses and society.”
Through the MoU, AUI Global will roll out executive workshops and ISO 17024-certified programs tailored to both board members and staff. The training is designed to build foundational and strategic AI understanding, empower leadership and governance teams to guide AI integration, and align implementation with smart city development and digital ecosystem priorities.
For AUI Global, the agreement marks a significant milestone in its expansion across East Africa and signals growing recognition of its executive-focused AI training model among leading institutions in the region.
For the Konza Technopolis Development Authority, the collaboration underscores its commitment to integrating artificial intelligence as a catalyst for innovation, investment, and competitiveness in the digital economy.
“By teaming up with AUI Global, we are supporting Kenyan companies to achieve and maintain AI dominance; a move that aptly captures the inspiration behind our vision to be a global Technopolis spurring Kenya’s future through innovations and growing the knowledge economy,” said John Paul Okwiri, CEO of the Konza Technopolis Development Authority.
With this first Kenyan agreement, AUI Global continues to expand its pan-African footprint, forging partnerships that connect industry leaders, institutions, and future-ready talent in advancing AI capability across the continent.
