Kenyan SMEs to Benefit from Zoho-KNCCI Digital Partnership

Global technology company Zoho has entered into a strategic partnership with the Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KNCCI) to help small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) accelerate digital transformation, improve productivity and strengthen business growth.

The partnership was announced during Zoholics Kenya 2026, Zoho’s annual user conference, as the company reaffirmed its commitment to supporting Kenya’s business ecosystem through technology, digital skills development and affordable business solutions.

Under the agreement, eligible KNCCI members will receive KES 65,000 in Zoho Wallet Credits, which can be used to access more than 60 cloud-based business applications covering finance, sales, customer management, human resources and other business functions.

Zoho said the initiative is intended to lower the cost of technology adoption while equipping entrepreneurs with digital tools needed to improve efficiency and competitiveness.

“As we continue expanding our presence in East Africa, our focus remains on creating meaningful local impact through collaboration,” said Premanand Velumani, Zoho’s Associate Director for Strategic Growth in the Middle East and Africa.

He said the partnership would expand access to technology, strengthen digital capabilities and help Kenyan businesses adopt solutions that support sustainable growth.

Zoho Kenya Country Head Veerakumar Natarajan said Kenya remains one of the company’s fastest-growing markets as more businesses embrace digital technologies.

“AI is reshaping how businesses operate, and organisations are increasingly adopting unified digital platforms to drive efficiency and growth. Through this partnership, we are committed to helping Kenyan businesses accelerate their digital transformation while strengthening the country’s SME ecosystem,” he said.

KNCCI Nairobi Chairman Dr James Mwaura welcomed the collaboration, saying it would give chamber members access to both business technology and the training required to use it effectively.

“Together with Zoho, we look forward to helping Kenyan businesses embrace digital transformation and strengthen their long-term competitiveness,” he said.

Beyond providing software, Zoho said it will offer onboarding support, product training and digital skills programmes to help businesses maximise the value of its applications. The partnership will also include workshops, knowledge-sharing sessions and joint awareness campaigns to encourage greater adoption of digital technologies among SMEs.

The company reported a 55 per cent revenue growth in Kenya, driven by rising demand for integrated business software and continued investment in local partnerships and talent development.

Zoho said its most widely used products in Kenya include Zoho One, Workplace, CRM Plus, CRM and Books, with strong demand coming from the IT, financial services, manufacturing, insurance and telecommunications sectors.
