Mejja Delivers Electrifying Showcase at Kinoru Stadium in Meru

Mtoto wa Khadija, popularly known as Mejja, held an unforgettable showcase at Kinoru Stadium in Meru on April 11, delivering an immersive celebration of music, culture, and shared experience in partnership with Captain Morgan Kenya.

Following weeks of growing anticipation among fans, the event marked the first major live performance of his album, a project that has steadily become part of everyday listening for many Kenyans.

From the moment the gates opened, the energy in Meru was unmistakable, with fans turning up in large numbers to be part of the experience.

The night was headlined by Mejja, whose performance featured fan-favourite tracks such as Manifest and Siaka. The live renditions transformed familiar songs into high-energy, shared moments as the crowd sang along and fully immersed themselves in the music.

Supporting acts, including Toxic Lyrikali, Dyana Cods, Jaysoul, and ZJ Heno, kept the momentum going, while DJs DJ Mawinch, DJ Deewiz, DJ Bee, and DJ Daffy delivered seamless sets that carried the crowd through the night. MC Azeezah brought her signature charisma to the stage, tying the entire experience together.

Beyond the performances, Captain Morgan curated an interactive experience featuring photobooths and game zones. Brand mixologists also served crowd-favourite cocktails such as Captain Cola and Muckpit & Sprite, adding depth to the event and ensuring the experience extended beyond the stage to every corner of the venue.
