The nationwide tour of Kenya’s ultimate beer and culture festival, Tusker Oktobafest, came to an electrifying close this past Saturday, November 8, with thousands of revellers gathering at Attela Beach Resort in Kisumu for an unforgettable night of music, beer, and culture.
The Lake Edition marked the final stop of the festival’s successful nationwide circuit, following vibrant editions in Nairobi, Eldoret, Mombasa, and Nanyuki.
Attela Beach Resort transformed into a lively celebration of Kenyan culture and beer, headlined by stellar performances from Bensoul, Fathermoh, and Harry Craze. Top DJs Gordo, Ves, Daffy, and Dimore kept the energy soaring, while the night’s hosts, crowd favourite MC Gogo and Kisumu’s own Hype Amollo, ensured the grand finale was nothing short of legendary.
MC Gogo’s fiery opening set ignited the crowd, paving the way for a high-energy performance by Harry Craze, who later surprised fans by bringing Fathermoh on stage for their chart-topping collaborations. The night culminated in a soulful and captivating performance by Bensoul, leaving the audience cheering for more.
Commenting on the success, Brigid Wambua, Senior Brand Manager for Tusker, said,
“We set out to bring the Oktobafest experience to as many consumers as possible this year, and we’ve achieved exactly that. Oktobafest celebrates Kenyan beer and culture, and Kisumu has delivered an exceptional finale to our nationwide tour.”
Now in its sixth year, Tusker Oktobafest expanded into a truly national celebration of Kenyan beer and culture, offering authentic local experiences across five key regions:
Nairobi Edition: October 4 at Carnivore Grounds
Rift Edition: October 11 at Baniyas, Eldoret
Coast Edition: November 1 at Big Tree, Mombasa
Mountain Edition: November 1 at The Stinger Lounge, Nanyuki
