Coca-Cola Launches ‘Coke with Meals’ Campaign to Celebrate Everyday Dining Moments in Kenya

Coca-Cola has officially launched its ‘Coke with Meals’ campaign in Kenya, spotlighting the role of everyday meals in creating memorable shared experiences.

The campaign highlights how daily dining moments, from lunches with friends and quick bites between classes to after-work street food and family dinners, serve as the backdrop of everyday life. It positions a chilled Coca-Cola as a complement that enhances flavour, connection and enjoyment at the table.

For generations, Coca-Cola has been part of major celebrations across Kenya. With ‘Coke with Meals’, the brand expands its focus to include everyday occasions, reinforcing the idea that even small personal wins, such as completing assignments, finishing chores or achieving milestones, are worth celebrating.

“Coca-Cola believes in the magic of shared meals, especially in a world where food brings people together,” said Monique Katana, Director of Frontline Marketing at Coca-Cola. “Through this campaign, we highlight ‘A Recipe for Magic’, showing how great food, inviting spaces and a chilled Coca-Cola can turn ordinary moments into shared experiences.”

The campaign, implemented in partnership with Coca-Cola Beverages Africa in Kenya, focuses on two key dining settings: meals at home, where families connect over home-cooked dishes, and the country’s vibrant out-of-home food spaces, including street vendors, local eateries and casual dining spots.

Targeting primarily urban Gen Z consumers aged 18 to 25, including students, young professionals and digital creators, the campaign also maintains broad appeal among families and urban households. Activations will take place in Nairobi, Mombasa, Kisumu and Nakuru, reflecting the diversity of Kenya’s food culture.

Beyond marketing, ‘Coke with Meals’ aims to deepen Coca-Cola’s connection to Kenya’s culinary scene through storytelling and cultural relevance. The campaign will feature digital content showcasing real dining moments, collaborations with food creators and chefs, and engagement across radio, television and online platforms. Community-based activations will further bring the campaign closer to everyday consumers.

Through this initiative, Coca-Cola continues to reposition itself as a familiar companion in daily life, extending its presence from special occasions to the everyday dining table.
