Tusker Malt’s polo team of Raphael Nzomo, Hiromi Nzomo, Kelvin Jumba and Michelle Morgan held BMW to a gripping 4 to 4 draw in the Chairman’s Cup final at the Nairobi Polo Club on Sunday evening, capping a high intensity showdown in one of Kenya’s premier polo fixtures.
The two day tournament delivered an adrenaline fueled spectacle that blended sport, art and culture, drawing polo enthusiasts and social crowds to the club’s lawns.
For five years, the partnership between Tusker Malt and the Nairobi Polo Club has reflected the brand’s focus on refined sport, craftsmanship and shared connection, values that mirror the discipline and prestige associated with both polo and the brew.
At the tournament, Tusker Malt elevated the experience with a craft station that hosted polo fans while showcasing elements of the malt brewing process.
Speaking at the event, Rediet Yigezu, Senior Brand Manager Premium Beer, said the partnership had strengthened the brand’s engagement with Nairobi’s premium social scene.
“It has been a proud moment to partner with Nairobi Polo throughout this season, as polo has provided us with a platform that elevates the Nairobi social scene through premium experiences, connections and interactions with our customers and partners. As the curtains fall for the season, our promise is to deliver a memorable experience and give our customers a glimpse into the delicate artistry behind the distinct taste of the beer.” ~ Rediet Yigezu
The involvement builds on the brand’s continued support for polo tournaments throughout the season, with activations at select events including the Lagos Incoming Tour, where teams from Nigeria and Kenya competed for the Simon Kuseyo Memorial Cup, and the Kenya International Cup, a high profile match between Kenya and South Africa held in September 2025, in addition to the Chairman’s Cup.

Beyond the sport, the Chairman’s Cup doubled as a style showcase, attracting Nairobi’s fashion forward crowd. Guests embraced polo’s classic aesthetic with statement accessories and elegant attire, creating a seamless blend of fashion and sport.
This atmosphere was further enhanced through a collaboration with Nyandisa Styling and Epica Jewellery, who presented curated style moments and an interactive craft station on site, offering guests a closer look at the artistry behind the designs.
Tusker Malt’s presence on the grounds added to the lifestyle experience, providing a natural meeting point for attendees to relax and unwind against the backdrop of charging hooves and spirited play.
