By Editor

Nairobi, Kenya — The International Conference on Contract Farming (ICCF) began today at the Sarit Expo Centre, bringing together global and regional agricultural leaders for two days of engagement, innovation, and strategic collaboration.

The conference has attracted experts from agri-innovation firms, fintech companies, farmer-focused organisations, development partners, policymakers, investors, agripreneurs, and farmer groups from across Africa and beyond. ICCF 2025 aims to reshape the future of contract farming and strengthen its impact on agricultural transformation.

This year’s forum is spotlighting how contract farming can enhance market access, improve food system resilience, and empower smallholder farmers. Delegates are participating in panel discussions, case studies, expert presentations, and networking sessions designed to foster meaningful connections and practical solutions.

A major objective of ICCF 2025 is to catalyse strategic partnerships among farmers, agribusiness leaders, and industry players—alliances expected to unlock value and strengthen contract farming models across agricultural value chains.

Day One Highlights

A high-level networking event, hosted in partnership with the Cereals Growers Association (CGA), offering delegates a platform to build collaborations.

A dedicated Deal Room, where stakeholders are exploring investment opportunities, negotiating agreements, and forging long-term partnerships.

The conference continues tomorrow, and organisers encourage all stakeholders committed to advancing agricultural transformation to join ongoing discussions and networking opportunities.
